The Spandala Method™ was developed by Adriena Dame as an integrative,12-step hands-on therapeutic modality designed to regulate the nervous system, reduce pain, and restore functional balance. It utilizes strategic touch techniques—including acupressure stimulation, targeted compressions, sustained holds, rhythmic pressure patterns, and guided breath coordination—to support the body’s innate healing response.
At its core, the method works by shifting the body out of sympathetic (fight-or-flight) dominance and into parasympathetic (rest-and-repair) regulation. Through intentional pacing, therapeutic contact, and nervous system attunement, the Spandala Method™ promotes deep relaxation, improved circulation, reduced muscular guarding, and enhanced mind-body integration.
Current Beta Testing
The Spandala Method™ is currently in an active beta testing phase focused on refining the 12-step protocol, evaluating therapeutic outcomes, and ensuring consistency across applications. This phase is assessing the method’s effectiveness in:
Reducing acute and chronic pain
Improving mobility and postural balance
Supporting nervous system regulation and stress recovery
Participant feedback and session data are being collected to optimize timing, pressure application, sequencing, and overall client experience. This process will inform future practitioner training and potential clinical study development.
Call for Research Subjects
We are currently seeking participants for ongoing beta testing of the Spandala Method™.
Participants will:
Receive guided sessions using the full 12-step protocol
Provide feedback on physical, mental, and emotional outcomes
Contribute to the development of an emerging therapeutic modality
We are especially interested in individuals experiencing:
Chronic or acute pain
High stress or nervous system dysregulation
Tension, restricted mobility, or fatigue
No prior experience with bodywork is necessary.
To participate or learn more, please reach out and join this research initiative.
